New aero Nissan GTR body kit

Previously Tommy Kaira announced their initial renderings of the new aero kit for the highly sought after Nissan GT-R. Now we have the official pictures of the body kit set to display at the Tokyo Auto Salon. The new kit is called ‘Wet Carbon’ from Tommy Kaira, and features several new body pieces. A new front bumper with lip spoiler, side skirts, air ducts all around, rear bumper, trunk spoiler, rear racing diffuser, and fender flares for the rear give the Nissan GT-R a fantastic look. Surely this will become one of the most popular body kits for the GTR, and many will try to duplicate the quality work by Tommy Kaira.

The wheels you see pictured are AVS Model F15 rims painted Platinum Black, and measure up to be 9.5×20 in the front, and 10.5×20 in the rear. Wrapped around all four wheels are Pirelli P-Zero tires measuring 255/40R20 in the front, and 285/35R20 at the rear. All the body parts were custom made of carbon fiber for the Nissan GT-R, and the complete body kit costs $18,500.

Tommy Kaira will also offer less expensive tuning kits that will include only the front bumper, lip spoiler, side ducts, and rear diffuser for $6,900. Other options that customers can choose from include dry carbon front fender finishers, dry carbon front fender ducts, and dry carbon door handle surrounds. The interior received a new red theme with the addition of Recaro racing seats.

For performance and handling, the tuning company can hook up the Nissan GT-R with a complete titanium exhaust system, Endless MONO6 & 6R caliper brake kit, and a Quantum Super Sports suspension system. The modified GTR exhaust is priced at $3,800, while the braking system goes for $20,000, and the suspension kit is priced at $6,900.
