Reborn of the new GTR Legend

Superb GTR!!

THE rebirth of the legendary Nissan Skyline GT-R, now utilising only the GT-R moniker, is set to raise the bar in the Super GT series this year.

The recently launched Nissan GT-R R35 has already been in testing for the 2008 season of the Super GT since last October in Japan.

The GT500 class machine was recently in Sepang for more testing with the Nismo team.
"The GT-R is much more stable compared with last year's 350Z because of the longer wheelbase," said Team Nismo driver Michael Krumm.

The team has been working on the setup of the car as well as tyre testing.
"There is definitely more work to be done in preparing the car for the first qualifying round on March 15 at Suzuka, Japan. The extreme conditions at Sepang are perfect for testing the tyres," said Krumm, who is entering his 14th year in the Super GT series, 10 of them with Team Nismo.

"We are doing our best here but it is only on March 15 that we will know the real potential of the GT-R."
